Our History
Our History
Our school was first established at Zion Lutheran Church in 1989 by Ms. Gail Anderson. She served as the director and owner of Kids of the Kingdom, Inc. at Zion for 26 years. Zion had plans to demolish the building that she was renting for the school, so she prayerfully sought a new location. The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit under the leadership of Rector Rev. Jason Roberts invited Kids of the Kingdom to join in their outreach to the community and to build a new school on their campus. After almost 2 years of planning and hard work, we closed the doors at Zion and moved the school to The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. We opened the doors at our new location on October 5, 2015. The school was named Kids of the Kingdom Episcopal School. (KOKES) We are a non-profit ministry and outreach of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. We hope that you and your child will be blessed by being a part of this great early learning adventure!
