Kids of the Kingdom Episcopal School

Where Children Know They are Loved by God

A LETTER FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Our school was first established at Zion Lutheran Church in 1989.  I served as the director and owner of Kids of the Kingdom, Inc. at Zion for 26 years!  Zion had plans to demolish the building that I was renting for the school, so I began to pray that God would lead us to a new location.

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit under the leadership of Rector Jason Roberts invited us to join in their outreach to the community and to build a new school on their campus.  After almost 2 years of planning and hard work, we closed the doors at Zion and moved the school to The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.

We opened the doors at our new location on October 5, 2015.  The school is now Kids of the Kingdom Episcopal School. (KOKES)

KOKES is a non-profit ministry and outreach of Holy Spirit.  I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Rector Jason Roberts and the many church volunteers who made this transition possible.  Everyone is really enjoying our new “little cottages”, and we invite you to join us for a cup of coffee or tea in the KOKES Kaffe any time!

I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year.  My door is always open, so please feel free to express your thoughts and concerns to me.  I will always try to listen and will seek the Lord's wisdom as we solve problems together.  I will also keep you informed through my monthly newsletters. I will send a paper copy home in your child’s folder each month and I will also post it on our web site.

I pray that you and your child will be blessed by being a part of this great early learning adventure this year.

Serving His Children,

Gail Anderson
